“Come and join with us to know God, share God’s love, and serve God together.”.

The Act of discipleship we take most seriously is Christ;s command to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We are connected to the wider world through the United Church of Christ which also reminds us of a call to hospitality of all God’s children – “no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here”

• The stories of the Bible are treasures to be discovered rather than rules to be obeyed.

Open and Affirming Statement:

When we, the Monroeville United Church of Christ, say in our Mission Statement, “Come and join with us,” we mean you, whoever you may be, for we embrace the diversity of the whole human family regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, faith history, economic condition, education, physical or mental ability. We seek to be a faith community where all can feel safe, valued, and cared for. Even though we may not all think alike, we can love one another together. We intentionally welcome all God’s children, “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey.” Come and join with us.
