Monroeville
United Church of Christ
An Open and Affirming congregation of the UCC
Our Mission Statement
Come and join with us to know God, share God's love, and serve God together.
Our Vision
Changing Lives to Change the World
Open and Affirming statement:
When we, the Monroeville United Church of Christ, say in our Mission Statement, “Come and join with us,” we mean you, whoever you may be, for we embrace the diversity of the whole human family regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, faith history, economic condition, education, physical or mental ability.
We seek to be a faith community where all can feel safe, valued, and cared for. Even though we may not all think alike, we can love one another together.
We intentionally welcome all God’s children, "No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey."
Come and join with us.
What We Believe
-
God's love knows no limits.
-
Asking questions deepens faith and does not diminish faith.
-
The stories of the Bible are treasures to be discovered rather than rules to be obeyed.
-
The more we give the richer we become.
